Phenomenal circa 1890 American “tramp art” spice box/cupboard with accented cut out hearts. Measures approx 23 x 10 x 10 inches the cupboard has its original metal hanger to be hung, or has padded feet to sit stationary on a cupboard or table. The bottom compartment has a roll top door, and an original smoke/grain paint. This piece is of the superior examples one will find of American Frank art. The original provenance is inside one of the drawers, “found in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota around 1916”.
