Circa 1890–1910, these exceptional moccasins measure approximately 10.5 inches in length and feature hard parfleche soles with soft hide uppers. The vamps and sides are entirely covered in glass seed beads worked in bold geometric patterns, dominated by brick red and accented with white, light blue, green, yellow, and cobalt. The cuffs are finished with a rich red trade cloth binding, and the pair remains in excellent condition with vibrant, original color and no significant bead loss. A beautiful and well-preserved example of late 19th to early 20th century Plains beadwork.
