A striking Klamath basketry doll of unusually large size, measuring 15 inches tall. The figure features an expressive face with woven eyes and mouth, a raised nose, and dark fibers defining the hair. Slender arms flank a richly textured outfit combining closely woven sections with openwork panels, contrasting dark accents, and fringed details.
Warm brown tones and sculptural proportions give this example considerable presence. Larger than most examples encountered and preserved in excellent condition.
Height: 15 inches
