Wonderful pair of completely homemade wooden biplanes, each measuring approximately 14 inches wingspan x 14 inches long x 8 inches tall. Constructed with hand-cut wooden bodies, struts, and wings, and painted in an appealing early mustard yellow with red, white, and blue roundels and tail markings. Each retains its original hand-carved propellers and wooden wheels, giving them an authentic, well-loved look. Together, they make an impressive display of 1920–40s aviation-inspired folk art, showcasing remarkable creativity and scale.
