An iconic example of a 19th century miniature stoneware presentation pitcher! This is one of very few presentation examples attributed to Schenfelder of Reading, Pennsylvania. Inscribed and presented to "MARY J ZELLERS". The piece measures a small 4 1/4 inches tall. In good overall condition, with a tight line likely dating to the making on the bottom of the pitcher extending 1/2 inch up the back side.
Important Historical Note: Mary Zellers was the daughter of John Zellers, a decorator for Shenfelder.
