A rare lidded Lehnware Saffron Cup attributed to Joseph Lehn, Pennsylvania (1798-1892). The turned cup measures 5 inches tall including lid. Features an elegant paint decoration with floral motifs. Some age expected paint loss & wear. One small shallow ship to bottom edge, and a previous crack to base which has been repaired/stabilized. No cracks to lid, a rare feat amongst surviving examples of turned lidded canisters.
