$1,300.00
$1,300.00

A very nice sampler dated 1839 and reads ANN EMILY HACKETT / AGED 12 YEARS 1839. And also reads 'THE LOSS OF MONEY IS MUCH / THE LOSS OF TIME IS MORE / THE LOSS OF CHRIST IS SUCH / AS NO ONE CAN RESTORE.

Pictorial sampler with birds, dogs, pine trees, and floral arrangements. Some small holes, and an area of loss to the bottom edge/border of sampler. Still displays very nicely, and a nice early survivor.

Dimensions: Measures approx 23.5 x 19 inches, including the birds-eye maple frame.
